Isobel Bess is an experimental musician, writer, and sound engineer. She releases music under the name (is). She is the inventor of Hypnowave: the art and science of effecting changes in reality by applying the principles of frequency modulation synthesis to the forces of animal magnetism.

Isobel is available for freelance production work, including mixing, mastering, and composing original music. She has composed original music for videogames, podcasts, short films, poetry readings and other rituals.
